Co-created Solutions Support Flexible
and Sustainable Workplace
When this e-commerce company needed to furnish its new headquarters, it knew standard office cubicles wouldn’t support its high-churn rate. Rather, the company needed furniture that could easily be disassembled and reassembled – sometimes on a daily basis.
“We knew we wanted anything but a typical corporate office environment,” said Kim Parsley, Principal, Interior Architects.
Interior Architects leveraged the KI Infinity process to modify existing KI products to fit the company’s desire for reconfigurability and sustainability. For example, the project avoided using any virgin wood by salvaging scraps from the manufacturing floor to create beautiful reclaimed wood doors. Recycled books, magazines and newspapers were compressed into tackable surfaces that also offered acoustical properties.
The e-commerce company appreciated that the Infinity process allowed them to support its office needs and remain a friend to the environment.
